| Irish Sport Horse (ISH) Defined: |
An Irish Sport Horse is usually a cross between a Thoroughbred and an Irish Draft (ID); not necessarily registered. However, the Irish Sport Horse may contain bloodlines from many different breeds, including European breeds. |
| Irish Draught Sport Horse (IDSH) Defined: |
A crossbred that is at least 1/4 Registered Irish Draught (RID) from a registered parent(s). The traditional cross is a Thoroughbred with a Registered Irish Draught horse. *The IDSH is recognized by The North American and Canadian Societies. |
